How to make the anti-corrosion centrifugal pump last longer?
Anti-corrosion centrifugal pump is a pump used in corrosive liquids to transport corrosive liquids such as acid, alkali and salt. The price is slightly higher than ordinary ones according to different raw materials. When users choose anti-corrosion centrifugal pumps, how can they make the centrifugal pumps more efficient? Long-lasting, the first is to choose a pump factory with reliable quality, and the second is to use and maintain the pump during operation. Huaqiang anti-corrosion pump has reliable quality, mature technology, and lifetime warranty replacement of components, which completely solves the user's worries. The following introduces the anti-corrosion centrifugal pump How to operate and maintain the pump correctly?
Operation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps
1. Preparation before launching
In order to ensure the safe operation of the pump, the unit should be fully and carefully inspected before the pump is started, especially for the pump of the new installation and the pump after the overhaul, and more attention should be paid to the inspection work, so as to find out the problem and deal with it in time. The first checks are as follows:
1. Check whether the anchor bolts and other connecting bolts of the pump motor are loose or fall, and if so, they should be tightened or replaced.
2. Check whether the rotor of the unit is flexible and simple, whether there is metal friction in the pump, and if so, check the reason. This inspection is often carried out by cranking, that is, rolling the coupling of the unit by hand.
3. Check whether the lubricating oil in the bearing is normal and whether the oil is clean.
4. Check whether the gate valve on the outlet pipe is active.
5. Check whether the steering of the motor and the water pump is consistent, and whether the power supply and distribution equipment is fixed; for the water pump of the new installation or the water pump after the overhaul, it is an essential job to check the steering of the motor.
6. Remove the sundries on the water inlet of the pump to prevent damage to the impeller after the sundries are sucked in after starting the machine.
7. Check whether the control system is normal, whether the appearance of each surface is accurate, and if there is remote control, check whether the remote monitoring is accurate and useful.
2. Diversion and initiation
1. Water diversion
From the operating principle of the centrifugal pump mentioned above, it is necessary to divert water before the centrifugal pump is started. Generally, small centrifugal pumps mostly use the method of irrigation and exhaust. At this moment, the lower end of the suction pipe should be equipped with a bottom valve. The methods of water diversion include tap water irrigation, overhead box irrigation, and exhalation pump irrigation. Most of the large and medium-sized centrifugal pumps use the method of water-ring vacuum pump to pump air and water. When pumping, when there is water in the exhaust pipe, it means that the suction pipe and the pump are filled with water, and the pump can be started to work. For the self-priming water pump with the water pump device lower than the level of the suction pool, open the water inlet valve, and the water will automatically fill the suction pipe and the pump.
2. Initiate
Centrifugal pumps are generally started by closing the gate. When starting, the operator and the crew should not get too close. After the speed of the pump is stable, the valves on the vacuum gauge and pressure gauge should be opened immediately, and the reading on the pressure gauge should rise to the pump. The idling head at zero flow indicates that the pump is now pressurized. Then gradually open the gate valve on the pressure water pipe. At this moment, the reading of the vacuum gauge gradually increases, the reading of the pressure gauge gradually decreases, and the reading of the ammeter on the switchboard should gradually increase. The initiation operation is completed when the gate valve is fully opened. When the pump is closed, the working time should generally not exceed 2~3min; if the time is too long, the water flow in the pump will heat up due to the continuous circulation in the pump, resulting in damage to some parts of the pump.
a. Assuming that after the motor is closed, there is only a "hum" sound without rolling, the power should be cut off immediately to check the cause.
b. Assuming that the pump rolls without water, the pump should be stopped immediately to check the cause.
3. Working of centrifugal pump
1. After each pump unit is put into work, the relevant record items on the working day report should be filled in in time. For computer management, the daily working data of each pump should be input into the computer's storage system.
2. The new unit uses greased ball bearings. The initial oil change time is after the unit works for 80h~100h, and the oil is changed every 2400h in the future (using molybdenum disulfide lubricant, the time can be doubled). For bearings lubricated by mechanical oil, change the oil every 240h, and always pay attention that the oil level should be between the two scales of the oil scale.
3. Pay attention to the abnormal noise and vibration of the unit. When the pump is working normally, the unit should be calm, and the sound should be uninterrupted in response to the normal connection. Abnormal noises and oscillations are often the harbingers of pump defects. In this case, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
4. Pay attention to the inspection of the bearing temperature and oil quantity of the unit. When the bearing heats up, generally it should not exceed the ambient temperature by 30°C to 40°C, and the height should not exceed 75°C. If there is no thermometer, it can also be touched by hand. Judging by experience, if you feel very hot, you should stop the inspection.
5. The normal dripping level of the stuffing box is generally only controlled to be able to drip down, not connected into a line, that is, 20 to 150 drops per minute. The amount of water dripping can be controlled by loosening and tightening the packing gland. Be careful not to press on one side to prevent wear of the shaft sleeve and gland.
6. If a large pump set adopts a water-cooled bearing or a circulating oil-cooled motor, the water circuit and oil circuit should be dredged. If there is a defect in the circulating cooling system, the pump should be stopped immediately for maintenance.
7. For water pump units without heat preservation methods, when the water pump does not work in winter, the water should be drained from the threaded pipe plug at the bottom of the water pump to prevent the water pump from freezing and cracking. The pump should also be placed to store water for a long time without the need for a pump.
8. When the water level of the injection and suction well is changed, if the water level of the suction well is lower than the planned water level, one or two units should be shut down appropriately to avoid cavitation and damage to the impeller.
9. Regularly check the coupling and the anchor bolts on the unit. If any deviation or looseness is found, it should be corrected and tightened in time.
10. Watch out for changes in surface pointers. Under normal working conditions, the position of the surface pointer should be basically stable at a certain position. If the surface pointer changes and jumps violently, the cause should be identified immediately. For example, if the vacuum gauge is reading up, it may be that the suction pipe is blocked or the water level of the water source is falling; the pressure gauge reading is rising, maybe the pressure water pipe is blocked; Should the speed drop, the impeller is blocked, etc. For the motor, pay attention to whether the reading on the ammeter exceeds the rated current of the motor. If the current is too large or too small, the vehicle should be parked and checked in time.
Four, centrifugal pump parking attention
Before the centrifugal pump is parked, the vacuum gauge and pressure gauge valve should be closed for the centrifugal pump, and then slowly close the gate valve on the pressure pipe to implement closed-gate parking.
After parking, care should be taken to wipe off the water and sludge on the surface of the pump and motor. If the pump is not necessary for a long time or after parking in winter, the water in the pump housing should be drained immediately. For some problems that cannot be dealt with at work, they should be dealt with in time after parking.
For pumps with higher head, pay attention to the possible damage caused by water hammer when the pump is stopped. Generally speaking, the pump system has already taken into account the impact of water hammer when the pump is stopped. For operators, it is necessary to pay attention to ensure that the water hammer elimination system is complete and useful at all times. Useful to minimize the impact of water hammer when the pump is suddenly stopped.
