Matters needing attention when disassembling horizontal multistage pump

2022 08/02

1. Park according to the parking sequence;

2. The liquid (including cooling water) in the pump casing should be drained; when the bearing parts are lubricated with thin oil, the lubricating oil should be drained;

3. Remove the subordinate pipelines that hinder the disassembly, such as balance pipes, water seal pipes and other pipelines and leads;

4. When dismantling, the manufacturing accuracy of the parts should be strictly protected from damage. When dismantling the piercing rod, each middle section should be cushioned with spacers to avoid the loosening and sinking of each middle section and bending the shaft.

Dismantling sequence of wear-resistant multistage pump for mining

1. Unscrew the bolts on the bearing end cover of the discharge side and the connecting bolts between the three parts of the water outlet, tail cover and bearing body, and remove the bearing parts such as the bearing end cover and bearing body;

2. Unscrew the round nut on the shaft and remove the bearing inner ring, bearing gland and retaining ring in sequence, then remove the packing body (including the packing gland, packing ring, packing, etc.);

3. After removing the O-ring seal, shaft sleeve, balance disc leveling key on the shaft in sequence, remove the water outlet, end guide vane and balance ring sleeve

4. After removing the leveling key of the last stage impeller, remove the middle section and guide vane; according to this, remove the impeller, middle section and guide vane at all levels in sequence until the front stage impeller is removed;

5. After removing the pump coupling, unscrew the coupling nut of the water inlet section and the bearing body and the bolts on the bearing gland, and then remove the bearing part on the water inlet section side;

6. Pull out the shaft from the water inlet section, unscrew the fixing nut on the shaft, and remove the bearing inner ring, O-ring, shaft sleeve, etc. in sequence;

7. For pumps with sliding bearings, the disassembly sequence is basically the same, and only slightly different when disassembling the bearing parts.
